SPRINGFIELD, Va. (January 11, 2011) – Gannett Government Media, publishers of Federal Times, Defense News, Army Times, Navy Times, Air Force Times and Marine Corps Times announced a strategic partnership with Federal News Radio’s “Your Turn with Mike Causey” program. Each week, editorial staff from Federal Times, Defense News and the Military Times Media Group will join host Mike Causey to discuss the week’s most important stories.
The arrangement kicks off Wednesday, January 12th when Federal Times Editor Steve Watkins and Senior Writer Steve Losey join Military Times Pentagon Correspondent Andrew Tilghman on the program to discuss President Obama’s proposed Federal Pay Freeze, changes in personnel policy and the impact of Defense Secretary Bob Gates’ new plans to slash defense spending.
